Dear Folk Club friends,
this next Friday, 07
July 2023, there will be the 137th edition of the Folk Club.
Featured
artist of the evening is Don Bartlett from Edmonton, the capital of
the province of Alberta, in western Canada. Don is an emerging and,
despite his youth, already accomplished fingerstyle guitarist. Many
of his pieces (instrumental and vocal) are composed by himself. In
many cases he uses works by other authors for his very own
arrangements and interpretations. Don was already a guest at the Folk
Club in July 2019. You can get in the mood for his performance by

After Franco Morone in
May and Stefan Mönkemeyer in June, Don Bartlett is the third
professional guitar virtuoso to enrich the Folk Club this year.
Next
Friday's evening will also be rounded off by performances by local
artists. The theme of the evening is "Arrival and Farewell".
As
always, it promises to be a varied, entertaining and diverting

am kommenden Freitag, den 07. Juli 2023 gibt es die 137. Ausgabe des Folk Clubs.featured Artist des Abends ist Don Bartlett aus Edmonton, der Hauptstadt der Provinz Alberta, im Westen von Kanada. Don ist ein aufstrebender und trotz seiner Jugend bereits versierter Fingerstyle Gitarrist. Zahlreiche seiner Stücke (instrumental und mit Gesang) sind von ihm selbst komponiert. Vielfach benutzt er Werke anderer Autoren für seine ganz eigenen Bearbeitungen und Interpretationen. Don war bereits im Juli 2019 im Folk Club zu Gast.
