Folk Club Bonn Nr. # 87 on Friday 05.01.2018
What a great evening and I both quote and fully concur with John Hurd's words:

‘Folk is great, beer is good, people are crazy’ If ever the Bonn Folk Club lived up to it’s motto, it was tonight s show at Dotty’s Sports Bar with special guests Schank. If there is a better place to find professional, amateur and hobby musicians enjoying an evening of music together in Germany, or even on planet Earth in general for free, then I would be surprised indeed.

John Hurd of 3SongsBonn was thankfully with us once again, this time not just as a dedicated scribe and wordsmith and an excellent photographer but also by strapping on his Cort guitar and giving us a fine rendition of a little known, but none the less beguiling song, "Irene Wilde" by Ian Hunter of Mott The Hoople fame.
Thanks for that John, a very special thanks to Schank, and thanks to everyone else who performed on the evening for making it such a special night.
