Dear Folk Club friends,
The new Folk Club year is starting late. While we have
become accustomed to the Folk Club taking place on the second Friday in January
in recent years, this time we have had to postpone the date by another week to
16 January.
With Steve Crawford, we are expecting a featured
artist who is no stranger to many of you. He has performed at the Folk Club
several times since 2012, delighting audiences with his songs. Steve comes from
Aberdeen in Scotland and has been living in Bonn for many years.
The theme of the evening is ‘anticipation’.
As always, the evening will be rounded off with performances
by several musicians from the region.
Let yourself be surprised and enjoy the evening!

Date: 16 January 2026
Start: 19:00 hrs until approximately 22:00 hrs. The
hall will be open from 5 p.m., offering the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely
meal and drinks before the concert. Those who arrive early will also be able to
sit in the front row.

clubhouse of the Bonn Tennis and Hockey Club – BTHV),

Liebe Folk-Club-Freunde,
das neue Folk-Club-Jahr beginnt mit einer Verspätung. Hatten
wir uns in den letzten Jahren daran gewöhnen müssen, dass der Folk Club im
Januar erst am zweiten Freitag stattfindet, so müssen wir den Termin diesmal um
eine weitere Woche auf den 16. Januar verschieben.
Mit Steve Crawford erwarten wir einen
Featured Artist, der vielen von Euch kein Unbekannter ist. Schon 2012 und
danach in größeren Abständen immer wieder trat er beim Folk Club auf und
begeisterte mit seinen Liedern. Steve stammt aus dem schottischen Aberdeen und
lebt seit vielen Jahren in Bonn.
Das Thema des Abends lautet „Vorfreude“
Der Abend wird wie immer abgerundet mit Auftritten mehrerer
Musiker aus der Region.
