A most unusual folk club this Friday outdoors at the back of Dotty's Bar at the BTHV and on the hockey pitch.

If possible do bring a folding chair, a blanket, an umbrella (to frighten any rain away) and a happy state of mind. Please wear a mask and observe spatial distancing. Admission free, refreshments will be available

Many of you have been kindly asking about Steve Perry, a long-standing member of the folk club Bonn committee and scheduler for events. Steve went into the hospital for a relatively standard operation on his eye recently which led to complications and then with one thing leading on to another thing, he became seriously ill indeed. He is now out of the I.C.U. and mending well and knowing my delight in dandelions (Löwenzahn/ Piss-en-lit/ Boterbloemen) he sent me the following dandelion facts a couple of days ago. He won't be physically present on Friday for FCB outdoors but the last time I spoke to him about it, he was very much in favour of such a unique event as far as the folk club is concerned, so we'll make it a good one for him.
