Eva Henneken, featured in this local newspaper article, is a regular contributor to Folk Club Bonn since her return to Bonn as a fiddler extraordinaire, following her sojourn in New Zealand. She has been using the lockdown to improve her considerable songwriting skills. I once wrote what I thought was a passable poem about an extraordinary migratory bird known as a swift (Mauersegler) which is now visibly and audibly present in large numbers in the skies over Bonn and Eva has turned it into a wonderful song about swifts. So thank you for that Eva! Just in case you were wondering if Eva had problems with her pedal extremities as can be seen at the bottom of the above photo, I can assure you that she does not. The feet that you can see actually belong to John Hay, which reminds me of an old Fats Waller song:

Ich habe einmal ein, wie ich dachte, passables Gedicht über einen außergewöhnlichen Zugvogel geschrieben, der als Mauersegler ( Swift) bekannt ist und der jetzt gut sichtbar und hörbar in großer Zahl am Himmel über Bonn präsent ist, und Eva hat daraus ein wunderbares Lied über Mauersegler gemacht. Also vielen Dank dafür, Eva! Nur für den Fall, dass Sie sich gefragt haben, ob Eva Probleme mit ihren Pedalextremitäten hat, wie unten auf dem obigen Foto zu sehen ist, kann ich Ihnen versichern, dass sie keine hat. Die Füße, die Sie sehen können, gehören tatsächlich zu John Hay, was mich an einen alten Fats Waller-Song erinnert:
