What a great way to kick the year off! 

We had an all-time record crowd, I counted 133 people in the first half of the evening, and we had a wide range of performers and an equally wide range of styles. There was English, German, platt deutsch, guitars, fiddles, mandolins and upright basses and A Cappella voices and harps to simply die for, bands of angels, and of course some poetry.

Now if our host Dotty were to adorn the room with some of her excellent paintings then one could tick all of Goethe's recommended boxes for a "good day" simply by attending Folk Club Bonn on the first Friday of the month.
