Liebe Folk-Club-Freunde,
mit den Anmeldungen für den Folk Club am 4. März erreichten uns viele Zuschriften, in denen gefragt wurde, ob die vollständige Impfung oder sogar eine Auffrischungsimpfung ("Booster") nicht reiche.
Bitte habt dafür Verständnis, dass wir zusätzlich zur Immunisierung (geimpft oder genesen) auch einen aktuell gültigen Test mit negativem Ergebnis verlangen. Das geht über die Anforderungen, die die Landesverordnung ab morgen stellt, hinaus. Wir halten es aber für begründet und auch zumutbar.
Wir sehen uns in der
Verantwortung für unser Publikum, das zudem überwiegend älteren
Jahrgangs ist. Wer geimpft ist, schützt vor allem sich selbst. Er ist
aber nicht davor gefeit, auch das Virus in sich zu tragen und an
Menschen in seiner Nähe weiterzugeben. Der zusätzliche Test schafft eine
erhöhte (uns ist bewusst keineswegs 100 prozentige) Sicherheit dafür,
dass Menschen, die womöglich ansteckend sind, nicht in den Konzertraum
gelangen.
Da sich vor dem Lokal eine
Teststation befindet, die bis 19.00 Uhr geöffnet ist, sollte es kein
Problem sein, sich vor dem Besuch des Folk Clubs schnell noch testen zu
lassen. Zudem gibt es überall im Stadtgebiet Teststationen, und die
Anmeldung und Probenahme dauert nur wenige Minuten. Auch wenn es etwas
lästig ist und in der Nase kitzelt, so ist es unserer Auffassung zufolge
doch keine Aktion, die eine unzumutbare Belastung darstellt.
Für
den Zugang zur Gaststätte selbst gelten natürlich die Regeln des Wirts,
und der wendet die Landesvorschrift an. Wenn also das Testergebnis noch
nicht da ist, kann man
es sich an der Theke schon einmal gemütlich machen und sich ein Bier
gönnen (oder auch zwei, der gebeutelte Wirt freut sich!), bis die Mail
mit dem (hoffentlich negativen) Resultat eintrifft.

Dear Folk Club friends,
with the registrations for the Folk Club on 4th March, we received many E-mails asking whether the full vaccination or even an additional booster vaccination would perhaps be sufficient?
Please understand that in addition to immunisation (vaccinated or recovered) we also require a current valid test with a negative result. This goes beyond the requirements set by the state ordinance as of tomorrow. However, we consider it justified and also reasonable.
We see ourselves as responsible for our audience, most of whom are of an older age. If you are vaccinated, you protect yourself first and foremost. But vaccinated people are neither immune to carrying the virus nor passing it on to people around them. The additional test creates an increased (we are aware of the fact that it is by no means 100 per cent) security that people who might be contagious do not enter the concert hall.
As there is a testing station in front of the venue that is open until 7pm, it should not be a problem to get tested quickly before visiting the Folk Club. Moreover, there are testing stations all over the city and it only takes a few minutes to register and take a sample. Even if it is a bit of a nuisance and tickles the nose, we don't think it is an action that is an unreasonable burden.
Access to the pub itself is of course governed by the landlord's rules, and the landlord applies the provincial regulation. So if the test result is not yet in, you can make yourself comfortable at the bar and have a beer (or two, the beleaguered landlord is then even happier!) until the E-mail with the (hopefully negative) result arrives.
